To God be glorified for a successful reinstatement of my status. The process was nerve-racking and painstaking, but the Lord made a way. Submitted my reinstatement application with hopes that the process will turn out smoothly and granted within a short period of time. Application. With the help of God and my attorney, my case was reopened, and the agency replied with a notice of action. I was very worried and anxious about this. To my surprise, the same agency that said my previous / old SEVIS ID was invalid now required that I submit a new I-20 with the old / previous SEVIS ID. Notified my DSO and she was able to find the old SEVI ID when she logged in to the system. New I-20 was issued on the old SEVIS ID and was sent to the agency. At this time, I had a feeling that I would be reinstated.
Finally, I got an approval notice from the government agency. Praise and Glory be to God. I was indeed fortunate and merciful to have my reinstatement.

“I entered the United States as an illegal alien. I am a citizen of Ecuador. I was arrested and placed in removal proceedings.
